Shunyi District (simplified Chinese: 顺义区; traditional Chinese: 順義區; pinyin: Shùnyì Qū) is an administrative district of Beijing, located outside of the city proper. As of 2014, the population of the district is around 983,000, of which approximately 601,000 have local residency permits.
