The Shand House Museum is part of the Nova Scotia Museum. Located in Windsor, Nova Scotia, it was built in 1890-91 for Clifford and Henrie Shand. It is an Queen-Anne style late-Victorian Era home, and most of its elaborate machine-made trim features are still intact. It contains most of the original family's belongings, including furniture, dishes, artwork, toys, photos and books which date to the turn of the century. Many pieces of the home's furniture were made at the nearby Windsor Furniture Factory, which was in operation in the late 19th and early 20th century Windsor.
