The European School of Mol is third of the European Schools. It is in Mol, a municipality in the Belgian province of Antwerp. The school was established in 1960 for children of the Central Bureau for Nuclear Measurements (now Institute for Reference Materials and Measurements), Euratom, Eurochemic, and the SCK•CEN (Belgian Nuclear Research Centre) personnel. However, the school has also welcomed children from other European or overseas families who live and work in the area.
