North Lakes is an outer suburb north of Brisbane, Queensland, Australia. Its local government area is the Moreton Bay Region. North Lakes is located approximately 26 km north of the Brisbane central business district. North Lakes has officially been named a suburb, gazetted by the Department of Natural Resources, Mines and Water in February 2006. The suburb is mostly made up of newly developed housing around the North Lakes Golf Course.
