Homebush railway station is a station on the Main Suburban railway line of the Sydney Trains system. Located in the suburb of Homebush, it is at the point where six tracks reduce to four. The station serves as the primary intermediate terminus for all stations Airport, Inner West & South Line trains via Ashfield. Limited stops trains do not stop, meaning interchange between all and limited stops services must be done at the previous station of Strathfield. There are seven platforms, although only platform 6 (the turnback platform) is currently in use.
