QUT Gardens Point was a ferry wharf in the Brisbane CBD used by the CityCat on the Brisbane River. It was destroyed during the 2010–2011 Queensland floods when the Brisbane River burst its banks and the terminal buckled under the fast moving torrent. A temporary terminal was in place until the permanent replacement permanent ferry terminal was built, the new terminal designed to be more flood resilient and have improved accessibility for people with a mobility or vision impairment.
