Laçin is a district of Çorum Province in the Black Sea region of Turkey. It is located at 29 km from the city of Çorum. It covers an area of 214 km², and the elevation is 720 m. Population is about 9,425 of which 2,153 live in the town of Laçin, and the rest in the surrounding villages (2000 census).
