Narlı (Syriac: Ahlah) is a small town in Pazarcık, Kahramanmaraş Province, Turkey. The town was traditionally dominated by the Assyrian/Syriacs, but today, the Kurdish people forms a majority in the city. The population is 9,000, consisting mainly of Kurdish and the religion is mostly Alevi. It sits on a crossroads between the big cities of Adana and Gaziantep. The town was settled in 1929, starting with the opening of a railway station. The economy is based on agriculture, with cotton, wheat, maize and chili pepper grown in the area.
