The Solomon Islands rain forests are a terrestrial ecoregion which includes most of the Solomon Islands archipelago. Not included in this ecoregion are the Santa Cruz Islands which lie to the east of the Solomons, and are part of the Vanuatu rain forests ecoregion, together with the neighboring archipelago of Vanuatu; and the islands of Bougainville and Buka, which are part of Papua New Guinea.
