Verkhnebureinsky District (Russian: Верхнебуре́инский райо́н) is an administrative and municipal district (raion), one of the seventeen in Khabarovsk Krai, Russia. It is located in the west of the krai. The area of the district is 63,700 square kilometers (24,600 sq mi). Its administrative center is the urban locality (a work settlement) of Chegdomyn. Population: 27,457 (2010 Census); 33,250 (2002 Census); 59,705 (1989 Census).
