Hauge i Dalane (Haua in the local dialect) is the administrative center of Sokndal municipality, Norway. The origin of the name Hauge is from the Old Norse word Haugr meaning mound. Its total area is 2.35 km². Its population (as of January 1, 2006) is 2,182, with a population density of 929 residents per km².
