Kuala Terengganu (Jawi: كوالا ترڠڬانو; simplified Chinese: 瓜拉丁加奴, pinyin: guālādīngjiānú; colloquially abbreviated as K.T.) is the administrative capital, royal capital, and the main economic centre of Terengganu, Malaysia. Kuala Terengganu is also the administrative centre for the eponymous district of Kuala Terengganu. Kuala Terengganu is located about 500 kilometres northeast of Kuala Lumpur on the East Coast of Peninsular Malaysia.
