Sillod is a major city and municipal council in the Aurangabad District of the Indian state of Maharashtra with an average elevation of 612 metres (2,008 ft). ABDUL SATTAR is member assembly from the constituency and also cabinet minister for animal husbandry.In 2009 Abdul Sattar won the elections with the margin of about 30,000 votes.
