Patara is a village located in Jalandhar district in the state of Punjab in north India.Devinder singh Patara started the Kabaddi game in the U.K back in 1965, and is the founder member of GURU NANAK KABADDI CLUB GRAVESEND. He is still chairman of the club to date. He has also worked as secretary general of England Kabaddi federation for ten years. He still organizing kabaddi tournaments in U.K and Europe.
