Zakiganj (Bengali: জকিগঞ্জ Zokigonj) is an Upazila of Sylhet District in Sylhet Division, Bangladesh. The town is famous in Sylhet, for being the home town of Quari Abdul Latif Chowdhury, the founder of the Latifia Muslim sect movement. It also has a darker history, as Zakiganj was a place where significant ethnic cleansing of the Hindu community occurred in the previous century.
