Salesian English School (Secondary Section) is a Hong Kong secondary boys school. Founded by the Roman Catholic religious institute the Salesians of Don Bosco, it is located in Chai Wan Road Shau Kei Wan, Hong Kong Island. The primary section of the Salesian English School was established in 1950 with the secondary section following in 1955. In 1959, the first senior secondary students sat the Hong Kong Certificate of Education Examination (HKCEE). Construction of the secondary school building finished in the same year when the school was opened by the then Hong Kong Governor Sir Robert Brown Black. A new indoor background and new building project were launched in 1996 and completed in 1972. Three years later, the secondary section converted from a private school to a subsidy school.
