Thessaloniki (Greek: Θεσσαλονίκη [θesaloˈnici]), also known in English as Thessalonica or Salonica, is the second-largest city in Greece and the capital of Greek Macedonia, the administrative region of Central Macedonia and the Decentralized Administration of Macedonia and Thrace.
