Navassa Island (/nəˈvæsə/; French: La Navasse, Haitian Creole: Lanavaz or Lavash) is a small, uninhabited and disputed island in the Caribbean Sea. It is administered as unorganized unincorporated territory of the United States, which administers it through the U.S. Fish and Wildlife Service.
