Woking is a constituency represented in the House of Commons of the Parliament of the United Kingdom. It elects one Member of Parliament (MP) by the first past the post system of election. It was created in 1950 from the county constituency of Chertsey. Woking has historically been a Conservative safe seat, with the Liberal Democrats being the principal opposition in the last five general elections.
