Stará Huť is a village in the Central Bohemian Region of the Czech Republic, near the town of Dobříš, in the district of Příbram. The average age of the 1,111 inhabitants is 36.8 years. It was founded around 1674, originally for the purposes of metallurgy. While the landscape is reported to be not fruitful and therefore not suitable for agriculture, it is a popular place for hiking.
