Jintan is a county-level city under the administration of Changzhou in the Jiangsu province of the People's Republic of China. The city has been dubbed as the “Golden Jug” in Chinese since 688 A.D. It has a long history of human civilization, tracing back to the Western Zhou Dynasty.
