Somerset is a former village in south-central Manitoba, Canada. It is located within the Municipality of Lorne. The community had a 2006 census population of 432 inhabitants, a decline of 5.88% from 459 during the 2001 census. This town contains a clinic, gas station, restaurant, 2 churches, a drive-inn, a hotel, a grain elevator and a high school. There are many things to do in this small town such as the curling rink, skating rink and the library.
