Gurupi Biological Reserve is a biological reserve in the State of Maranhão, in Brazil. Created by decree n.º: 95.614 of 12 July 1988, it has 341.650 ha. Studies with plants, butterflies and birds classify this biological reserve as one of the 12 pleistocenic refuges in the Brazilian Amazon Forest.
