Snowtown is a town located in the Mid North of South Australia 145 km (90 miles) north of Adelaide and lies on the main route between Adelaide and Perth. Snowtown is perhaps most infamously known for the Snowtown murders, despite the fact that most of the murders were not committed in the town.
