Avenida Roque Sáenz Peña (also known as Diagonal Norte), is a main artery in the San Nicolás quarter of Buenos Aires, Argentina. It is oriented south-east/north-west, diagonally bisecting the city blocks (manzanas) which give the city centre a checkerboard plan.
