Taylor County is a county located in the U.S. state of Kentucky. As of the 2010 census, the population was 24,512. Its county seat is Campbellsville. The county was formed in 1848 and named for General Zachary Taylor, who would later serve as President of the United States. Taylor is a moist county in that selected restaurants can serve alcoholic beverages.
