Baraga County (/ˈbærəɡə/ BARR-ə-gə) is a county in the Upper peninsula in the U.S. state of Michigan. As of the 2010 census, the population was 8,860. The county seat is L'Anse. The county is named after Bishop Frederic Baraga.
