Naval Air Station Albany (Turner Field) is a former United States Navy station whose site is located within the current city limits of Albany, Georgia. From 1940 to 1967, it was operated by the United States Army and USAF, finally under the name Turner Air Force Base. Following its closure it was transferred to the U.S. Navy and renamed NAS Albany.
