The Tremont (also known as Tremont – East 177th Street) Metro-North Railroad station serves the Tremont section of the Bronx via the Harlem Line. It is 7.9 miles (12.7 km) from Grand Central Terminal and is in an open cut at the intersection of Park Avenue and East Tremont Avenue (East 177th Street). Service at Tremont is limited; trains stop every 30 minutes during rush hours, every two hours otherwise.
