Kharkov (Armenian: Խարկով; formerly, Yenikëy) is a town in the Shirak Province of Armenia. (The name Yenikëy is Turkish for "new village".) A short distance west of Kharkov is an overlook from which the ancient Armenian capital, Ani, may be seen clearly across the border with Turkey.
