L'Île-aux-Marins (literally "The Island of the Sailors"; before 1931 called Île-aux-Chiens, literally "Island of the Dogs") is a small island in the Atlantic Ocean. It is located off the coast of Saint-Pierre and Miquelon and was a commune of it until 1945, when it was annexed by the commune of Saint-Pierre. It is 1,500 metres (0.93 mi) long and its width varies between 100 to 400 metres (330 to 1,310 ft).
