Hayatabad is a modern suburb on the south-western fringe of Peshawar, the capital of the Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, Pakistan. It was named after Hayat Sherpao, former Governor of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa and a notable leader of Pakistan Peoples Party.
