Storsylen is the highest mountain in the Sylan mountain range. It is located in the municipality of Tydal, Sør-Trøndelag, Norway, less than 100 metres (330 ft) west of the border with Sweden. The 1,762-metre (5,781 ft) tall mountain lies about 8 kilometres (5.0 mi) east of the lake Nesjøen.
