Shahabad is a town in Gulbarga district in the Indian state of Karnataka. The town is divided into the following areas: Bazaar, the residential townships of Alstom and Jaypee Cements (formerly ACC or HMP), Bhankur/Shantnagar and Old Shahabad. Agriculture, limestone mines, boiler and cement production are the main areas of commerce.
