Gairkata is a census town in Jalpaiguri district in the state of West Bengal, India. At times, it is also spelled as Goyerkata. Gairkata G.P is the one of the biggest G.P in Jalpaiguri. Although the GP is officially written as Sakoyajhora no-1. From Dudua river to Alipurduar distric border it is a nice village . A nice Madhubani Park is here on the bank of Madhubani river. One old and finest tea garden is here. It is the native village of Samaresh Majumder Bikash Sarker and Samar Ganguly. Gosaihat Eco park also situated in this area under Gairkata-Moraghat Rang. Telepara is its industrial hub. Gairkata is in the middle of Dhupguri block.
