Kerinci is a regency (kabupaten) in Jambi province, on the island of Sumatra, Indonesia. The regency has an area of 3,808.5 km² (1,470.5 sq mi). At the 2010 Census, Kerinci Regency had a population of 229,387; the latest estimate (for January 2014) is 253,258. The capital is Siulak.
