SS Rosehill was a 2788-tonne steel-hulled collier built in 1911 by S.P. Austin and Son of Sunderland under the name Minster. Rosehill is also known as the Penhill. She was torpedoed by U-40 off Fowey on 23 September 1917 whilst en route from Cardiff to Devonport. She was taken under tow but sank in Whitsand Bay at 6:05 pm.
