Pabbay (Scottish Gaelic: Pabaigh, pronounced [ˈpʰapaj]) is one of the Barra Isles at the southern tip of the Outer Hebrides of Scotland. The name comes from Papey, which is Norse for "island of the papar" (i.e. monks).
