K.B. Hallen was a multi-purpose venue in Copenhagen, Denmark. It was opened in 1938 by King Christian the 10th, but a fire damaged the roof and the interior of the grand hall severely on 28 September 2011. It is still being discussed if it will be possible to restore it to its former glory. According to engineer, Erik Nielsen from Jørgen Nielsen A/S, who has been examining the concreteconstructions of the roof for the Danish State (Kulturstyrelsen), it is safe and absolutely possible to restore the roof and hall.
