Tengchong County (simplified Chinese: 腾冲县; traditional Chinese: 騰沖縣; pinyin: Téngchōng Xiàn) is a county of Baoshan City, western Yunnan province, People's Republic of China. It is well known for its volcanic activity. The county is named after the town of Tengchong which serves as its political center, previoulsy known as Tengyue (Chinese: 腾越镇; pinyin: Téngyuè zhèn) in Chinese.
