Ningxia (Chinese: 宁夏; pinyin: Níngxià; Wade–Giles: Ning-hsia; pronounced [nǐŋɕjâ]), officially the Ningxia Hui Autonomous Region (NHAR), is an autonomous region of the People's Republic of China located in the northwest part of the country.
