Shanshan County, formerly Piqan County (Chinese: 鄯善县; pinyin: Shànshàn Xiàn; Uyghur: پىچان ناھىيىسى‎, ULY: Pichan Nahiyisi, UYY: Piqan Nah̡iyisi^?) is a county within the Xinjiang Uyghur Autonomous Region and is under the administrative jurisdiction of the Turpan city. It contains an area of 39,548 km².
