Haida Gwaii (/ˈhaɪdə ɡwaɪ/ HY-də-GWY; Haida: X̱aayda gwaay; literally "Islands of the Haida people"), informally but commonly known as the Queen Charlotte Islands and the Charlottes, is an archipelago on the North Coast of British Columbia, Canada.
