Winter Island is an uninhabited island of the Canadian Arctic Archipelago in Quikqtaaluk, Nunavut. It lies in the Foxe Basin with Hoppner Strait to the northwest. Winter Island is south of the Melville Peninsula, separated from it by Lyon Inlet.
