Makresh (Bulgarian: Макреш, pronounced [makrɛʃ]) is a village in northwestern Bulgaria, part of Vidin Province. It is the administrative centre of the homonymous Makresh Municipality, which lies in the western part of Vidin Province, close to the Bulgarian-Serbian border.
