Mohanganj (Bengali: মোহনগঞ্জ) is an Upazila of Netrokona District in the Dhaka division of Bangladesh. It is one of the 10 Upazilas of Netrakona district. Perhaps, the most important and famous after Netrokona itself. Mohanganj is largely known as the capital city of Lower Bangladesh as it is the economic heart of Lower Bangladesh generally known as Haor (হাওর). This the home of many spiritual personalities who had contributed in Folk Music and various national aspects. Many names can be recalled like Abdul Aziz Khan (Social Worker), Abdur Razzak Master (Politician), Rebecca Momin (Present Honorable Parliament Member and Politician and the list goes on. Alongside, it is the Maternal Home of Humayun Ahmed & Muhammed Zafar Iqbal, unarguably the most famous siblings in Bangladesh.
