Map of Trumpeter Islets

The Trumpeter Islets comprise a group of two islets, with a combined area of about a hectare, in south-eastern Australia. They are part of the Trumpeter Islets Group, lying close to the southern end of the western coast of Tasmania, about 6 km north of the entrance to Port Davey. They are also part of the Southwest National Park, and thus within the Tasmanian Wilderness World Heritage Site. The islets are part of the Port Davey Islands Important Bird Area, so identified by BirdLife International because of its importance for breeding seabirds.
