Jacobs Peninsula is a massive peninsula, 5 miles (8 km) long and 3 miles (5 km) wide, extending east from Nash Range into the Ross Ice Shelf, Antarctica. The peninsula rises to over 800 metres (2,600 ft) and is ice-covered except for fringing spurs, as at Cape May, the northeastern extremity. It was named by the Advisory Committee on Antarctic Names after Stanley S.
