Mount Abbott (74°42′S163°50′E) is a mountain 3,346 feet (1,020 m) high, which stands 3 miles (5 km) northeast of Cape Canwe and is the highest point in the Northern Foothills, in Victoria Land. It overlooks Terra Nova Bay. Mapped by the Northern Party of the British Antarctic Expedition, 1910–13, and named after Petty Officer George P.
