Simmonds Peak (85°58′S158°32′W) is a prominent rock peak, 1,940 m, standing 4 miles (6 km) south of Mount Dort on the east side of Amundsen Glacier, in the Queen Maud Mountains. Mapped by United States Geological Survey (USGS) from surveys and U.S. Navy air photos, 1960-64. Named by Advisory Committee on Antarctic Names (US-ACAN) after Willard I.
